I've been listening to Roisin Murphy lately. She's great! I think her music as well as her style is unique and interesting. She definitely has great fashion sense, too. It's demonstrated in some of her music videos! I'm totally in love with her outfits in "Let me know" and "Overpowered".
So, I just came across this picture yesterday while browsing the website InStyle.com It's in the beauty tips section, featuring some beautiful headbands:
I don't care much for headbands, but I have to admit that the girl in the picture is super pretty!!! OMG, she has the innocent, adorable look of Drew Barrymore, and her face is much more gorgeous than Drew. I enjoy discovering random pictures of beautiful faces, just to look at! So, I went on to search who this girl is. Her name is Leighton Meester, best known for her role as the main character Blair Waldorf in the TV show Gossip Girl. I've never watched that show, just heard of it. Here are some more pictures of her:

Day-glo, or Blacklight ink, is "ink that glows under a black light, a source of light whose wavelengths are primarily in the ultraviolet". The paint may or may not be colorful under ordinary light. It is also known as fluorescent paint.
So, I guess day-glo colors are colors that have a glowing shade resembling the Blacklight-reactive ink.

Dressing like this at an important Awards celebration and going on the stage for your acceptance speech??? That is quite audacious! Anyway, I'm totally digging that look. Sporty and cool. The Converse sneakers have always been my favorite. They are versatile, casual, cheap and yet, can still look fashionable. This outfit goes perfectly well with the Twilight series. Vampire looks !!!
Speaking of cheap fashion, there is a recent post on Trendhunter.com titled "Cheap High Fashion" that features Miley Cyrus' promotion of a Wal-mart clothing line with prices of about $20. Honestly, I'm very amazed by this one:
See! Wal-mart clothes can be awesome. It actually is one of my most favorite shops! Hahaha. Cheap shops often have clothes that fit you the best. That is my experience so far.
